The Golf
Lakelands Golf Course
Situated in the heart of Queensland’s Gold Coast, The Lakelands Golf Club was Jack Nicklaus’ first signature designed course in Australia. Nicklaus has used bunkering extensively in his strategic design and water features on many of the course’s 18 holes. The impeccable conditioning of the course, which has been recognised with several awards over the years, would matter little if the design was ordinary. The fact that Nicklaus’ work at Lakelands is first class ensures this layout sits comfortably among the top echelon of Australian courses and should be on the ‘must play’ list of every golfer heading to the Gold Coast.
Links Hope Island
Amongst a sea of Gold Coast golf courses, a short drive from the excitement of Surfers Paradise and under an hour away from the bustling Brisbane CBD, sits our superb 18-hole championship golf course. Cleverly designed and lovingly maintained, Hope Island Golf Course provides a delightful challenge for all professional and amateur golfers. With its 5-Star facilities and consistently high rankings amongst Australia’s leading resort courses, the Hope Island Golf Course will not disapoint!
Palm Meadows
Palm Meadows Golf Course at Carrara on the Gold Coast is centrally located within 10 minutes drive of Surfers Paradise and five minutes from Broadbeach. The challenging 250-hectare par 72 course designed by Graham Marsh measures 6,319 metres off the championship tees and boasts opening and closing holes rated among the greatest in Australian golf. Water comes into play on 14 holes and there are 82 sand bunkers around the course.

The Itinerary
Day 1 – Sunday 20th July 2025
- Check in to The Star Gold Coast 2pm
- Bag drop at Star City Casino 3pm
- Welcome party at TopGolf Gold Coast 5.30pm
- 2-hours of golf and ‘Backyard BBQ’ food including pickled fried chicken, brisket with house mop sauce, caesar salad with herbed croutons & parmesan shavings, zucchini chips with napoli sauce and mozzarella melt, roasted kipfler potatoes with garlic and herb oil.
Day 2 – Monday 21st July 2025
- Round 1 at Lakelands Golf Club (2-person ambrose format)
- Lunch from 10.30am
- 12pm shotgun start
- Includes shared cart
- Pin presentation on completion

Day 3 – Tuesday 22nd July 2025
- Round 2 at Palm Meadows (2-person ambrose format)
- 7:30am shotgun start

- Maximum differential of team handicaps for males is 20.

- Any participant withdrawing from the tournament due to Covid within 48 hours of tee off will receive a credit.
- 28 day cancellation period prior to the event, after this date no refund will be issued only credits for future use.
