Play for fun or play to win!

Earn points to qualify for the final and your chance to share in over $300,000 in prizes.

Over 100 events during the qualifying period accumulates in the top 60 teams battling it out in the Finale at Sanctuary Cove.

Players with a Handicap earn Order of Merit points from each event they play. Players without a Handicap can participate in individual events, Division 2, but will not be awarded Order of Merit points and are ineligible for the National Final.

This year we are also proud to introduce a Mixed and Ladies Division.

Qualifying Period

Golfers participating in Golfer Tour events during the qualification window earn Order of Merit points toward a place in The Golfer Tour Race to Sanctuary Cove Final, 18th, 19th & 20th (QLD) in October 2024.

Winners will each receive a set of Takomo Custom Fit Clubs valued at over $3000 each.

Runners-up win a Net Return pro series at home practice net plus an Adidas custom kit package valued at over $2,500 each.

Third Place will each receive a Mega sponsors package valued at over $1,000 each.

There will be a prize pool run down to 10th place.

Points are awarded on an individual basis. This allows you to accrue points even if your regular playing partner is unavailable.

Who Can Play?

The Golfer Tour is an open mixed (male and female) series available to all players with an official Handicap issued by Golf Australia.

Players without a Handicap are welcome to play in our events but will not be awarded points and thus are ineligible for the National Final.

Please contact us if you would like assistance with obtaining an official Handicap recognised across Australia.

If a player's partner is not available for the final then an alternate may be sourced with the same handicap or higher but not greater variance than 5 strokes from the original partner.

If players are unavailable we will continue down the order of merit to fill the field of 100 players at Sanctuary Cove.

Condition Of Entry

A golfer's daily playing GA may be altered at the discretion of the event manager with the intent to uphold, integrity, honesty, and fairness to all competing golfers.

Maximum differential of team handicaps for males is 20.

Maximum differential of team handicaps for Mixed Team (M+F) is 25.

To qualify for the National Final the players of each team must have at least 5 registered Golflink scores (Competitions) in the 10 months prior.

Golfers are responsible for all liability when hiring a golf cart during the golf day.

Maximum men's handicap 36; Maximum ladies handicap 45

    Welcome party at Topgolf followed by a Two day 2 Ball Ambrose tournament at Sanctuary Cove Golf Club with pairs selected via a blind draw.

EZGO Hole In One Prize

At our national final there will be a hole where all players have the opportunity to get the nearest to the pin on both days. The top 10 from each day (double up not allowed) qualify for the shootout at the end of the event where players will compete for a nearest the pin, and the winner will take home an EZGO lithium cart valued at $17,000! Rules for winning:

  • Men off white and ladies off red tees
  • One shot only
  • PGA past or present not able to win the major prize
  • If there are multiple winners / hole in ones a random draw will take place at the National Final
  • Men minimum of 130m, ladies minimum of 120m
  • There will be other hole in one prizes at various local events at the discretion of the tournament director
