The Golf

Lakelands Golf Course

Situated in the heart of Queensland’s Gold Coast, The Lakelands Golf Club was Jack Nicklaus’ first signature designed course in Australia. Nicklaus has used bunkering extensively in his strategic design and water features on many of the course’s 18 holes. The impeccable conditioning of the course, which has been recognised with several awards over the years, would matter little if the design was ordinary. The fact that Nicklaus’ work at Lakelands is first class ensures this layout sits comfortably among the top echelon of Australian courses and should be on the ‘must play’ list of every golfer heading to the Gold Coast.

Links Hope Island

Amongst a sea of Gold Coast golf courses, a short drive from the excitement of Surfers Paradise and under an hour away from the bustling Brisbane CBD, sits our superb 18-hole championship golf course. Cleverly designed and lovingly maintained, Hope Island Golf Course provides a delightful challenge for all professional and amateur golfers. RACV Royal Pines Golf Club

Comprising of 27 holes, RACV Royal Pines Resort has three unique 18-hole combination golf courses, including the Graham Marsh re-designed Championship course which hosts the Australian PGA Championship and the ALPG Players Championship. Made up of the Green and Gold nines, the championship course has tight fairways, undulating greens and strategically placed bunkers, with each nine having its own distinctive challenges. Set against a lush tropical background and just minutes from the Gold Coast’s most famous beaches, the championship course will test the most astute golfer.

The Accommodation

The Itinerary

Day 1 – Sunday 19th July 2026

• Check in to The Star Gold Coast 2pm
• Welcome party at TopGolf Gold Coast 5.30pm
• 2-hours of golf and ‘Backyard BBQ’ food including pickled fried chicken, brisket with house mop sauce, caesar salad with herbed croutons & parmesan shavings, zucchini chips with napoli sauce and mozzarella melt, roasted kipfler potatoes with garlic and herb oil.

Day 2 – Monday 20th July 2026

• Round 1 at Lakelands Golf Club (2-person ambrose format)
• Lunch from 10.30am
• 12pm shotgun start
• Includes shared cart

* Breakfast and dinner at own leisure

Day 3 – Tuesday 21st July 2026

• Round 2 at RACV Royal Pines (2-person ambrose format)
• 7:30am shotgun start
• Lunch on completion
• Includes shared cart

Day 4 – Wednesday 22nd July 2026

• Check out of The Star Gold Coast
• Final round at Links Hope Island (2-person ambrose format)
• Includes bacon & egg roll & juice or coffee 
• 8am shotgun start

• Price: $500 deposit
• Format: 2-person ambrose
• Over $3500 worth of prizes
• Prizes awarded for overall performance, longest drive, nearest to the pin & other novelty prizes
• Handicapped players will be in Division 1 and non handicapped players in Division 2
• Division 1 players earn points towards the Golfer Tour Order of Merit

Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Deposits

• 100% refundable as full credit within 14 days of purchase if the deposit is made more than 90 days prior to the event.
• After 14 days, deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations

• 31+ days prior to the event: 50% refundable as credit, however, a full credit may be issued if waitlist entries can be substituted.
• 14–31 days prior to the event: Non-refundable, however, a credit may be issued if waitlist entries can be substituted.
• 14–0 days prior to the event: Non-refundable.

Twin Share Packages

• If you select a twin share package but do not have a partner, you will be charged the single-player package rate.

Travel Insurance

• Travel insurance is not included and recommended.

Credits

• Credit can be used on any of our events or deals for 12 months following cancellation.
