Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open 2021, Fife, Scotland: 12-15 August
The Women's Scottish Open was first held in 1986. It became a regular event on the LET in 2010. Since 2027 it has been co-sanctioned by the LPGA TOUR and is held a week before the Women's British Open. Defending champ in 2021 is American Stacy Lewis.
In 2021 it is being held on the stunningly beautiful Dumbarnie Links, for the first time.
Minjee Lee, winner of this year's Evian Championship, was runner up in this event in 2018, to Ariya Jutanugarn. This year Minjee has an extra motivation to win, as her brother Min Woo won the 2021 Abrdn Scottish Open.

Minjee Lee hopes her first LPGA event since becoming a major champion will see her enjoy a family celebration as she seeks to win the women's equivalent of the men's Scottish Open title that was annexed by her brother last month.
Lee reckons it would be "pretty cool" to follow her younger sibling Min Woo Lee, who took the Scottish crown at North Berwick a month ago in the build-up to the men's British Open.
And the 25-year-old believes she'll be playing more freely at the Dumbarnie links, just a few miles down the road from St Andrews... Read more

Her younger brother, Min Woo, won his second European Tour event with his victory at the 2021 Abrdn Scottish Open, just a few weeks before her Evian win. Lee said they got to celebrate back in the United States before the Olympics, and said his victory helped propel better play within the Australian. Read more

THE COURSE: Dumbarnie Links opened a year ago and has attracted strong reviews from all who have visited.
Designed by former European Tour player Clive Clark as a high end, daily fee course, many are keen to see how it holds up to a field of the best female players in the world. The course is located in Fife, home to the Old Course at St Andrews and some of the best known links layouts in the world.
